Alumni Day at Governors Island - September 25, 2010
The 2010 Cooper Union Alumni Day held at Governors Island, on September 25, 2010, attracted alumni, family and friends to a day filled with the exploration and discovery of Governors Island. Alumni biked and took walking tours of the island’s history, sculpture gardens and gallery exhibitions and met at Picnic Point to reminisce with friends and gather for a group photo.

Cooper reUnion Class of '50 - June 17, 2010
Class Leaders Zen Eidel A’50 and Bill Warren EE’50 hosted the 60th Anniversary of the Class of 1950. The event began with guided tours of 41 Cooper Square followed by a luncheon in Peter Cooper Suite. Additional activities included a 60th ReUnion Display by the Cooper Library Archives, self-guided tours of the Annual Student Exhibition and a casual gathering at McSorley’s.

On The Rooftop - May 20, 2010
On The Rooftop-CU with a View was held for the first time on the Alumni Roof Terrace. On the Rooftop Event Chairs were Sam Vernon A'09, Jacob Mautner AR'09, Keyleigh Kern AR'09 and Kemi Adeyeba ChE'09. The Classes of 1994-2009 welcomed our newest alumni, the Class of 2010, into The Cooper Union Alumni Association.

Golden Legion - May 7, 2010
Class of 1960 Golden Legion Celebration was held in the Great Hall and 41 Cooper Square followed by a Wesselmann Studio Tour and Reception. We honored the Class of 1960 celebrating its 50th anniversary; provided a current view of the college through the President's address and campus and building site tours. Founder's Day Dinner Dance - April 16, 2010
2010 Founder's Day Dinner Dance was held at the Roosevelt Hotel. Dinner Co-Chairs were Anne Dudek Ronan CE'83/MCE'84 and Gregory Ronan ME'81/MME'82. 2010 Alumni Award Recipients were honored and Peter Cooper's 219th Birthday was celebrated. Recognized the 25th Year Reunion of the Class of 1985. 2010 Award Recipients: Augustus Saint-Gaudens, Steve Brodner A'76; John Q. 43 alumni, parents and guests attended this reception at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco to hear from President George Campbell Jr., Vice President for External Affairs Ronni Denes, and Director of Alumni Relations Susan Moyle Lynch about some of the exciting things happening at The Cooper Union. . Wreath Laying Ceremony - February 9, 2010
Over 100 alumni, faculty, staff and students attended the 2010 Wreath Laying Ceremony commemorating the 219th birthday of our founder Peter Cooper. Held in Peter Cooper Park the event featured the Cooper Union Alma Mater led by Tanu Chauhan ChE'10, accompanied by ProMusica members, organized by Charles Diamond CE'10. Cake and cider were served following the ceremony in the Foundation Building where Daniel Wong CE'10 provided the musical compilation Aural Fixation VII from Professor James Abbott's Sound and Space Class. |

Rites of Passage (1995 - 2009)- January 21, 2010
754 people (of whom 135 were alumni) viewed the alumni art exhibition across disciplines created to focus on the school's future, signaling the arrival of a new generation as embodied by Cooper Union's last 15 graduating classes. The exhibition was curated by Thomas Micchelli A'75 and The School of Art at The Cooper Union.
