2013 Founder's Day
The Founder's Day 2013 Alumni Awards Reception took place on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at Guastavino's. Alumni and friends gathered to honor alumni who contribute to The Cooper Union’s profound effect on the world and to celebrate Peter Cooper's 222nd birthday .
Alumni Award recipients included: Regina Granne, A '59 (posthumous) for the Augustus Saint-Gaudens Award for Art, Michael Morris, AR '89 and Yoshiko Sato, AR '89 (posthumous) for John Q. Hejduk Awared for Architecture, Harold Goldberg, EE '44 for the Ganor Dunn Award for Engineering, MaryAnn Nichols, A '68 for Alumnus of the Year and Dean Stephen P. Baker for Honorary Alumnus of the Year.
