Many alumni volunteer their time to reach out to classmates, advise students, and make appeals on behalf of the College. Volunteering is a great way to be involved with The Cooper Union, make contacts with other alumni and have a lot of fun at the same time.
Class Reps
Serve as the point person for keeping in touch with your class. Check out the Class Rep list to see if your class needs a Rep, and if the posting is full, please contact the Alumni Office, as we are always looking for additional volunteers.
Alumni Council
Want to help shape the future of the CUAA? Serve as a member of the Cooper Union Alumni Association Alumni Council! Nominations happen every February, so be sure to contact the Alumni Office to make sure your name is on the list.
Alumni Committees
Remember that you don't need to be on the Alumni Council in order to be on the Events Committee, Annual Fund Committee or the Faculty Liaison Committee. We welcome your participation and input.
Phonathon
Phonathon is an annual fundraising campaign that directly supports the Annual Fund. Each year, this effort is made possible by the many dedicated volunteers who give their time so generously.
This year's Phonathon will be on March 12-15 & 19, 2007. Please email cmarsh@cooper.edu if you want to hit the phones for a night, or a few!
Alumni Mentoring
Network, network, network! This is where alumni seek and offer advice on career related matters.
Student Mentoring
Help out a graduating student by letting them know what the real world is like.
