Securities
The Cooper Union welcomes gifts of cash, but also encourages donors to consider gifts of securities. Often gifts of appreciated securities or stock can be one of the most advantageous ways of giving because the form of gift provides significant tax relief while supporting The Cooper Union. See instructions on making a gift of securities or, for more information, please contact Michael Governor, Assistant Director for Special Gifts, at 212.353.4172 or govern@cooper.edu.

Matching Gifts
Matching gifts can double or even triple your gift. Read below to learn more, or contact your personnel officer to obtain a matching gift form and send it with your gift to Cooper.

Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions made by their employees. To find out if your company has a matching gift policy, please enter your employer's name below.

PAGE Funds
The Cooper Union's PAGE (Perpetual Annual Giving Endowment) Funds enable alumni and other friends of the College to establish a permanent named fund, honoring or memorializing a loved one or an organization. Planned Gifts

A planned gift is a gift that will benefit The Cooper Union at a future point in time. Planned gifts offer an opportunity for alumni and friends of the College to meet a variety of financial objectives, including tax benefits and added income, while helping The Cooper Union achieve long-term financial stability.

Bequests
The most common way to remember Cooper Union in your will is through a bequest, a provision in your will or living trust that directs that a portion of your estate should be transferred to Cooper at a time subsequent to your death

Charitable Remainder Trusts
A charitable remainder trust is a special type of gift plan that enables donors to transfer cash, securities, real estate, or other assets for the future benefit of Cooper Union, while retaining the right to name one or more persons, including the donor, to receive a generous income for a period of time usually for life.

Charitable Gift Annuities
Charitable gift annuities enable many people to provide a guaranteed income for themselves, their spouse, parent or another and also provide ultimately for The Cooper Union. These gifts frequently generate substantial income and capital gains tax savings as well as estate tax savings.

For more information about planned giving, including pooled income funds, real estate, life insurance and other retirement assets, please contact Michael Governor, Assistant Director for Special Gifts, at 212.353.4172 or govern@cooper.edu.

Capital Gifts

Building Fund

Named and General Endowments
An endowed gift is maintained in perpetuity, and demonstrates your commitment to Cooper Union's tradition of excellence. Named endowments typically bear the name of the donor or memorialize a loved one, while supporting a worthy purpose of your choice. This is a very rewarding way to honor a friend or family member or celebrate a milestone while investing in the future of art, architecture and engineering students.

For more information about Capital Gifts, please contact Michael Governor, Assistant Director for Special Gifts, at 212.353.4172 or govern@cooper.edu.
