Mentoring
Welcome to the The Cooper Union Mentoring Program. The CU Mentoring Program is a tool for alumni to help other alumni seeking career related information, insight and advice. Members of the program have agreed to share information about their careers, educational backgrounds, organizations/companies and job search techniques. Click on one of the links below to get started.
When networking with a Mentor please remember:
- Never ask for a job, ask for information
- Research a career field or industry before making contact, so that you can be informed and ask effective questions
- Note the manner in which the member wishes to be contacted and be respectful of that request
- Send a thank-you note or email

Student Mentoring
If you are interested in mentoring students at The Cooper Union, please contact the Office of Career Services at 212-353-4377 or career@cooper.edu.
Each year the office hosts several special career related events for students, including Mock Interview Night, Career Night and CU@Lunch, where The Cooper Union alumni come back and share their experiences in the fields of art, architecture and engineering during their lunch hour.
